SFD as employer

SFD can take you to practically every destination in Europe and far beyond. Flexible, and to your very own schedule.

Is it worth a company having its own aircraft? Who will fly it and who will take care of the maintenance and technical support?

SFD-Maintenance provides the technical care with its own highly qualified staff and covers both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as AOG support.

SFD-Services delivers important services for aircraft owners. All single services from the Management and Maintenance divisions can be booked individually.

Our website may be used without providing any personal data. Different rules may apply to the use of individual services on our site and in this case they are explained separately below. We only process your personal data (e.g. name, address, email, telephone number, etc.) in accordance with German data protection legislation. Data are defined as personal if they can be clearly attributed to a particular natural person. The legal basis for data protection can be found in the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG). The following provisions tell you about the type, scope and purpose of collection, the use and the processing of personal data by the provider:

Please note that the transmission of data via the internet is subject to security risks; it is therefore impossible to guarantee complete protection against access by third parties.

On our website we use what are known as cookies to identify the repeated use of our offering by the same user/IP address. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser downloads and stores on your computer. They help to optimise our website and our services. Most of them are "session cookies", which are deleted at the end of your visit.

However, in some cases these cookies install information that enables you to be recognised automatically. This recognition is based on the IP address stored in the cookies. The information collected serves to optimise our services and make it easier for you to navigate our site. You can prevent the installation of cookies by changing your browser settings, but in this case we must point out that you may not be able to use all the functions on our website to their full extent.

Server data

For technical reasons we record the following data sent to us or our webspace provider by your internet browser (server log files):

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Website from which you visit us (referrer URL)
  • Website you visit
  • Date and time of your access
  • Your internet protocol (IP) address.

These anonymous data are stored separately from any personal data you may provide and so cannot be attributed to any particular person. They are used for statistical analyses to optimise our internet site and our services.

Use of Google Analytics with anonymisation function

On our website we use Google-Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereafter known as "Google". Google Analytics uses cookies; text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookies, such as the time, place and frequency of your visits to the website, including your IP address, are sent to Google in the USA and stored there.

On our website we use Google Analytics with the "_gat._anonymizeIp" function. In this case Google shortens your IP address within the member states of the European Union or other members of the European Economic Area and so makes it anonymous.

Google uses this information to analyse your use of our website, to compile reports on website activities for us and to provide other services related to the use of the website and the internet. Google may also transmit this information to third parties to the extent required by law or to the extent that third parties process these data on behalf of Google. By its own account Google will under no circumstances link your IP address with other data from Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by changing your browser settings, but in this case we must point out that you may not be able to use all the functions on our website to their full extent.

Furthermore, Google provides a deactivation add-on for the most common browsers, which gives you more control over the data that Google collects about the websites you visit. The add-on tells the JavaScript (ga.js) from Google Analytics that no information about the website visit is to be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, the deactivation add-on for browsers from Google Analytics does not prevent information from being sent to us or to any other web analysis services we may use. Further information on installing the browser add-on can be found under the following link:

Contact / Flight enquiries

On our website you have the opportunity of contacting us by email and/or via a contact form. In this case the information you provide will be stored in order to process your contact request. It is not passed on to third parties. The data collected are also not matched with data that may be collected by other components of our website.

Collection of personal data for job applications

We collect and process your application data in the course of the recruitment process. If your application is followed by a contract of employment the data you sent may be stored in your personnel file for the usual organisational and administrative processes in accordance with the relevant legal provisions. If your job application is rejected your data will be deleted automatically two months after the rejection is announced. This does not apply if a longer storage period is required by law (as evidence under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG)) or if you have explicitly agreed to a longer storage period in our database of potential employees.

The Federal Data Protection Act gives you the right to approach us free of charge with questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data, their rectification, blocking and deletion or the revocation of your consent. Please note that you are entitled to the rectification of any incorrect data or the deletion of personal data if there is no statutory obligation to keep them on record.
